DOMA Technologies is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Finance and Accounting to join our leadership team at our headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. This pivotal role will oversee our finance and accounting teams, reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a senior financial role within an organization that supports the Federal Government. Requirements

• Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.

• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.

• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.

• Accounting Operations:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Government Contracting:

• Ensure compliance with federal government contracting regulations and requirements, including but not limited

to FAR and CAS.

• Oversee preparation of annual Incurred Cost Proposal (ICP) submission and manage response to federal

ICP audits.

• Utilize Deltek software for financial management and reporting.

• Investor Relations and Reporting:

• Provide detailed reporting to key stakeholders/investors regarding the financial performance of the organization

• Prepare and present financial statements, key performance indicators, and variance analyses.

• Ensure transparency and build trust with investors through effective communication.

• Support annual financial audit, tax provisioning, and business valuation efforts.

• Strategic Initiatives:

• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

• Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of senior financial leadership experience

• Extensive experience supporting Federal Government contracts.

• Proficiency with Deltek software is required.

• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

• Proven track record of driving financial performance and growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, and purpose-driven environment.
