The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Vice President of Credit Card Services role in the Milwaukee, WI market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing the Credit/Debit card product portfolio, as well as overseeing servicing and dispute management.

This position offers a generous salary of up to $185K and an outstanding benefits package.

Vice President of Credit Card Services responsibilities include:

• Managing, recommending, and implementing Bank policies, procedures, projects, training, and communication strategies for Credit/Debit Card programs.
• Increasing card penetration and usage.
• Developing a strategy for Credit Card/Debit Card product development and growth while ensuring compliance and regulations are adhered to.
• Overseeing Credit/Debit Card portfolio with responsibility for growth, compliance, expansion of card services and offerings, and rate monitoring and adjustments.
• Monitoring portfolio performance, volumes, and statistical data collection. Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for reports, fraud strategies (including tab rule management), analyzing the output, and report trends.
• Managing vendor relationships, card portfolio, and revenue generation.
• Monitoring customer card experience to ensure service optimization and customer satisfaction.
• Staying current and complying with all federal and state regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and all bank policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Eight or more years of experience managing Credit Card products including credit cards, debit cards, and ATM services.
• Five or more years of experience managing teams including in the development of skills, performance management, and coaching.
• Prior experience with Fiserv-DNA technology preferred.
• Proven accomplishment in growing and optimizing card products.
• Ability to understand and interpret the profitability of Credit Card products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required to establish goals, direct and evaluate staff; interact with employees, industry peers, and outside vendors; make recommendations; prepare reports; and conduct presentations.
• Tactical as well as a strategic thinker, with excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent organization, project management, execution, and delivery skills. Must be able to multi-task with frequent interruptions; be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment; and manage multiple projects to a conclusion on time.
• Comfortable with metrics-based performance, including the ability to meet critical deadlines.
• MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
• Ability to remain flexible and withstand unpredictable changes to schedules and deadlines.
