As the Vice President of Communications, you will be responsible for leading our internal and external communication strategies, execution, and measurement. You will play a crucial role in shaping our brand image and reputation, both internally and externally, ensuring that our message is communicated clearly and consistently across audiences and channels. You will oversee all aspects of communication, including public relations, social media content, employee communication, and executive communication. You will facilitate the flow of information and dialogue internally to deepen our employee engagement and sense of belonging. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a strong track record of driving successful communication campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all communication channels

  • Manage all internal and external communication channels, including press releases, social media, website, and intranet content

  • Partner with Talent and Culture to enhance our employer brand, promote company culture and drive belonging

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop impactful change communication strategies and messaging that puts people's experience at the center. Oversee the creation of compelling content, including press releases, blogs, articles, speeches, and presentations

  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters

  • Collaborate with Suvoda's Chief of Staff on delivering engaging and impactful company meetings and executive communication

  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends to continuously improve and innovate the company's communication strategies

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing communications team

  • Use data-driven approach to continuously test, measure, and evolve programming to achieve improved results over time

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies

  • Outstanding writing and copy-editing skills, with ability to translate complex concepts into clear and effective communication

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make quick decisions

  • Confidence working with senior executives in high stakes situations; Proven ability to successfully influence, facilitate and partner with leaders at all levels

  • Proven success in employee engagement

  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to approach problems with a "learner" mindset

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications

  • Experience in Clinical Trial or Healthcare industries is a plus
