The company provides drinking water, wastewater and waste collection service to 6.4 million people on a daily basis; treats over 600 million gallons of water and over 450 million gallons of wastewater each day; delivers water treatment and advanced network solutions to 16,000 industrial and municipal sites; processes 55,000 tons of waste for recycling; and rehabilitates and maintains water assets for more than 4,000 municipal and industrial customers. Provide vision, leadership and direction to North America Advanced Solutions and Environmental Services Sales organization. Ensures coordination between the different sales channels as well as cost effective management of resources in order to achieve the global sales targets. Defines Sales policy and processes and drives sales strategy implementation. Establish sales territories, quotas, goals and training expectations. Analyze sales data/statistics to monitor business and redirect the efforts of Sales as necessary. Lead negotiations for large contracts closing or extensions. Ensure consistency between marketing efforts and sales strategy.
Develop sales strategy, customer segmentation, and sales process.
Ensure renewals, extensions of existing contract portfolio
Coordinate cross sellings between divisions of the group.
Align the marketing plans with the sales strategies.
Monitor the customer satisfaction results and define improvement plans.
Negotiate and approve contracts and agreements as necessary with customers.
Plan, develop and implement strategies that promote the continued growth of the Sales organization to meet projected Company growth.
Evaluate the performance of direct and indirect reports against agreed upon goals and objectives. Provide corrective course of action as needed.
Review and analyze procurement laws and regulations in order to adapt sales strategy.
Define sales objectives by sales channels by product type and by regions.
Gather market intelligence and surveys
Promote a culture that encourages and fosters innovation, excitement and sense of urgency across the Sales organization.
Ensures quality of sales offers
Participate in hiring/termination processes within the sales team.
Plan and implement initiatives to develop the skills of the sales teams (training, coaching).
Participate with other areas to further develop the company portfolio of products (Managers, Lines of Business leaders, Finance, Marketing).
Promote the Company to customers and affiliated trade associations
Serve on management committees or other governing boards.
Conduct all activities consistent with growth plans of company.

Approximately 50%-75% travel throughout North America with minimal international travel.

Work Experience Needed:
15+ years of Progressive Sales & Marketing in large service company environment preferably in water, wastewater or solid waste market. Municipal account management.
Direct sales experience 3-5 years
