Our National Sales team is seeking to add a seasoned and results-driven professional to serve as Vice President of National Sales. This position will be responsible for driving new business by identifying national strategic marketing assets/capabilities and creating packages that deliver results to major brand partners and agencies within their select territory. Our ideal candidate will help spearhead our national sales efforts, leverage their extensive industry expertise and proven track record to drive revenue growth and establish strategic partnerships. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual contributor to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently prospect new clients and embrace data-based tools to do so

  • Understand the offering; sell the full suite of LEARFIELD assets on a national scale incorporating IP, marketing rights, digital content, NIL, and signature assets

  • Establish and build strategic partnerships by selling to new clients

  • Negotiate terms of business contracts

  • Coordinate contract execution & fulfillment with Partnership Management team

  • Build relationships with client partners & prospects

  • Collaborate with internal partners including local and regional multi-media rights properties

  • Travel required when necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of prior sales or business development revenue generating experience within the sports and entertainment industry, college preferred

  • Successful track record as both a sole contributor and a member of broader sales team/organization

  • Proven ability to sell within a digital and cross platform sales environment

  • Experience navigating a multi-tiered sales organization (including a massive field sales organization)

  • Creative thinker who can bring back industry and marketplace learnings to assist in platform and product innovation and development of new offerings

  • Excellent communication, presentation & relational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
