What will you do?

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the various Business Unit (BU) senior leaders to support their day-to-day efforts.

  • Work closely with the various BUs within Holman to understand their annual business plans, key initiatives and critical success factors to meet and/or exceed their goals.

  • Lead a team of marketing leaders in various areas of the country to create detailed marketing strategies designed to support those plans.

  • Drive a culture of planning and anticipation within the marketing team providing valuable insights and metrics to BU leaders.

  • Manage budgets associated with the various business unit plans.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Data and Analytics teams to understand the performance of the marketing plans with the intent to 1) regularly report out results to BU leaders and 2) use this information to recommend ways to optimize campaign results.

  • Create a framework outlining a go-to-market strategy for each of Holman's various businesses ranging from fleet management to luxury automotive sales.

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience, CRM, Sales and Operations teams to integrate our marketing efforts seamlessly with their work.

  • Partner with finance, legal and other internal groups to ensure we are executing marketing campaigns in compliance with all laws and company policies.

  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, MBA preferred

  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy preferably with a consumer-facing organization.

  • 5+ years supporting operations / BU executives as the marketing and/or strategy lead for their business.

  • 5+ years as a leader of manager+-level employees.

  • Strong understanding of the customer journey, segmentation and business planning for marketing purposes.

  • Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact

  • Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business

  • Holds business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head

  • Formulates a clear strategy and maps the steps to accelerate the organization toward goals

  • Anticipates and addresses the impact of key decisions strategically and financially

  • Practices effective succession planning

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
