Overview

The Vice President, Marketing Operations manages the marketing operations department. The role of the team is to manage all operational aspects of Marketing at scale including capacity management, scorecards, campaign execution, lead to opportunity processes, the technology stack, and other strategic marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a diverse set of employees in support of PowerSchool's positive corporate culture.

  • Mentor, teach and coach team members in the skills, processes and knowledge needed to execute their jobs.

  • Be the go-to source for marketing operations, always bringing insights rather than data to drive future growth, customer success, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Optimize capacity to support strategic and tactical performance for marketing activities (events, campaigns, customer advocacy, etc.).

  • Identify and implement process improvements across all areas of marketing operations (activities, campaigns, lead generation, lead qualification, lead scoring, etc.).

  • Identify tool and platform requirements for improved effectiveness (e.g., Salesforce and Marketo).

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, marketing or economics or equivalent, relevant experience.

  • At least 5 years of people management experience.

  • At least 10 years of experience developing and leading marketing operations processes and capabilities within a medium to large corporate enterprise.

  • At least 3 years of experience working in direct marketing campaign design, execution and tracking in the consumer and/or B2B marketing domain.

  • Demonstrated strong operational and process improvement skills to help streamline and scale processes and tools.

  • Effective cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management.

  • Deep expertise in Marketo and salesforce is required, other nice to haves are: Marketo, DOMO, Snowflake.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and business judgment.

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $238,049 - $250,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
