Job Summary:

We're a fast-paced and results-oriented marketing team and we are looking for a leader who will be responsible for developing and communicating the EDQ vision, brand and solution. You must be adept at translating complex technical concepts that can be easily consumed by colleagues, industry analysts and customers alike. You must be a data-driven growth-oriented team leader with practical experience across all marketing functions (but not constrained by traditional marketing concepts or thinking). This position requires someone with a track record of articulating a vision to numerous personas, a passion for consumer engagement across all channels, a firm grasp of current digital strategies, proven leadership skills and experience gained in a B2B software environment.


  • Oversee the creation of high-level multi-channel marketing campaigns, multi-channel advertising, customer life-cycle, as they relate to brand recognition, revenue growth, visual identity, marketing strategy and financial goals

  • Work collaboratively across the organization to develop, implement, track and optimize marketing efforts and promotional campaigns for various products, programs and services

  • Oversight of multiple marketing functions: Content, Product Marketing, Digital, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Event Planning and Business Development

  • Translate brand and product vision into differentiated and compelling campaigns for each audience and enable the outward facing teams to carry our story

  • Know our customers, their pain points and their success stories and translate these into better content and campaigns with trackable improvements

  • Ensure alignment with the operational budget by advising on long range financial plans, marketing plans and appropriate strategies

  • Build strategic go-to-market regional plan for your product area, including setting all goals and resource allocation

  • Driving the go-to-market strategy for the assigned goal with a cross functional team

  • Work directly with Product Management to ensure all product roadmaps and functionality is utilized fully by the sales organization

  • Stay abreast of current marketing and business trends within the Data Quality industry and identifying opportunities to enhance the brand's image and capitalize on the changing competitive marketplace


  • BA/BS

  • At least 10 years of progressive hands-on experience digital marketing and

  • demand generation in a B2B environment

  • Experience supporting, collaborating with and influencing executive management

  • Strong understanding of the marketing and sales funnels to drive lead quantity

  • and quality

  • Experience in data-driven marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation and

  • organizational alignment

  • Understand marketing measurement analysis, delivery by using web analytics,

  • marketing, and sales data to drive strategic decisions

  • Expert level experience with Marketing Automation (Eloqua a plus) in campaign

  • execution and system integrations

  • Extended experience with SalesForce, SalesForce reporting, and its data objects

  • Highly adaptable and flexible with an ability to change direction as needed

  • possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and successfully bring

  • about organizational change

  • Ability to effectively interact with, and relate to people at all levels of the

  • business; must be able to move and influence a group, moving teams into

  • a common vision and direction

  • Experience in SaaS Data Quality software is highly desirable

Overview: In this newly created position, the Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Operations will ensure that marketing measurements drive performance and visibility across the global business. Opportunity Highlights: * Build and create a Marketing Operations function that drives performance and visibility (i.e. Processes, metrics & analytics, marketing automation technology, lead scoring, campaign execution and tracking, budget to pipeline and revenue, database health, etc.). * Define key marketing metrics and manage the process of building reports and dashboards that give full visibility on the overall marketing performance to CMO & Customer Market Leaders on weekly/monthly basis. * Establish the annual marketing planning and budgeting process, ensuring marketing's goals are aligned with Skillsoft's overall strategy. * Monitor, analyze and report on the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, ROI, and customer acquisition costs. * In partnership with our Data and Analytics as well as Business Applications teams, lead data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance. * Set strategy, routinely re-evaluate assumptions, data and processes, and proactively identify new opportunities to excel or differentiate. Craft detailed and actionable recommendations. * Partner with Marketing and Sales stakeholders to ensure that marketing automation and CRM processes facilitate insights and end-to-end visibility. Skills & Qualifications: * 15+ years of global marketing strategy & operations leadership experience needed, SaaS experience a plus. * Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams. * Advanced expertise with marketing automation systems. * Experience in a role requiring rigorous analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, and complex stakeholder management. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality deliverables and attention to detail. * High emotional IQ and ability to think quickly on your feet.
