Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and direct the IT Operations and Infrastructure Services function including, but not limited to: on prem & cloud infrastructure, hardware platforms, network and data center operations, security, personal productivity tools, service coordination, problem resolution, desktop computing, and access management and help desk support.
Be responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and strategy of the business application infrastructure working in conjunction with Application Development, business leaders, and Information Security.
Coordinate and lead acquisition planning and integration activities and budgets regarding technology infrastructure in conjunction with other IT and business leaders.
Partner with Information Security to ensure infrastructure processes, standards and procedures align with Ryan's Information Security Program including Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery, including testing.
Be responsible for the ongoing evolution of the organization to focus on execution and quality, while at the same time, consistently and predictably delivering service through standard, repeatable processes.
Deliver high-quality, high-availability services.
Develop, manage and negotiate both vendor and business relevant service levels agreements and deliver to them.
Direct the continued evolution and transformation of the infrastructure organization with a focus on execution and quality, consistently and predictably delivering service through standard, repeatable processes.
Manage service delivery levels through measuring via existing and needed KPI monitoring, and customer feedback.
Understand business vision, mission, goals, strategic interests and priorities and know how it works.
Understand the current and future capabilities of information technology/infrastructure products via industry research, vendor roadmap analysis, etc.
Constantly strive to ensure cost savings opportunities and efficiencies are being achieved.
Develop and maintain Ryan systems infrastructure inventory and roadmap including detailed schedule and budgets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree with at least 10 to 15 years of related experience designing, implementing, and operating IT Infrastructure technologies is required.
Seven to ten years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity required.
Demonstrated capabilities & experience with transforming IT infrastructure for an organization with 50+ locations including international.
Knowledge of contemporary IT infrastructurehybridon prem/cloud architectureincluding experience managing and implementing cloud architectures in a DevOps/Agile methodology.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management amongst peers, team members, and within all levels of the organization.
A proven ability to lead by motivating, inspiring, and supporting team, leaders and management to successfully achieve their divisional and departmental objectives.
Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, identifying key business issues and opportunities, creating business strategies and driving results across internal teams and/or external partners.
Thorough knowledge of general principles of finance, budget, ITIL, project management, secure systems development lifecycle, and IT SecuritySocII/TypeII, PCI.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Standard indoor working environment.
Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary.
Independent travel requirement: up to 25%.
