Responsibilities

The Vice President of Insights and Measurement will identify and develop measurement solutions and actionable insights that drive growth for NBCU and its vast array of clients across the portfolio. S/he will possess the business and analytical acumen necessary to interpret and anticipate client needs, understand business implications, and position insights effectively. Additionally, the position holds NBCU Portfolio efforts across specific agencies and categories S/he will engage with clients as well as colleagues across the Insights & Measurement team to identify ways to measure the efficacy of media spend and drive change and thought leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop strategic vision that drives demand and revenue generation across the portfolio for specific agencies and clients, while also focusing on Hispanic consumers & content.

  • Collaborate across I&M and sales teams to drive insights and positioning across advertiser categories as well as with agency clients.

  • Transform legacy media measurement and deliver business outcomes for clients.

  • Develop team to be industry leading change agents focused on thought leadership, best in class insights, and analytics and measurement.

  • Engage in conversations around identifying new business opportunities and build related measurement strategies around those opportunities.

  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop innovative approaches to measurement.

  • Lead an insight and measurement team focused on collaboration and teamwork.

  • Contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in media/advertising, strategic marketing, research, and/or measurement.

  • Track record of successfully managing direct reports and emerging talent.

  • Proven ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization and cultivate strong internal and external relationships.

  • Understanding of TV & digital applications as well as syndicated resources (such as: Nielsen, com

Score, Adobe, etc.)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Experience directing big data analyses, creative storytelling, data visualization, and insights.

  • Foundational understanding of new and disruptive business models.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, applied math, or statistics.

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

  • Proven entrepreneurial approach and comfort with ambiguity/rapid change.

  • Advanced degree in related area of study.

  • Spanish language proficiency (verbal and written).
