Scope:

The VP, HR Operations is a high profile, strategic position as a member of the global HR leadership team as well as a member of the company's Sr. Leadership Group. This position reports to the SVP HR to lead the development and implementation of HR strategic objectives, programs and processes that support the enterprise's strategic plan. Responsible to develop and execute strategy, including Total Rewards, M&A diligence and integration activities, program enhancements, and continued technology, data analytics and process improvements across all of HR. VP will have extensive interaction with executive management, senior leadership group, and HR leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Lead HR strategy development, strategic planning effort and cross-functional team collaboration, inclusive of long-term goals and objectives, key risk management, and driving business and project initiatives

  • Lead a cross-functional team that evaluates emerging technologies and trends, organizational effectiveness, programs, and SWOT analysis

  • Perfect internal reporting mechanisms that measure HR performance and program outcomes. Support business decision making while building analytical capability over the next two years

  • Establish HR Scorecard and critical metrics reporting, including measurement criteria that monitors the performance of established strategies (to include programs and key HR/business processes) and recommend modifications as needed

  • Lead M&A diligence, integration planning and multi-year implementation

Total Rewards:

  • Build/refine multi-year total rewards strategy that balances market competitiveness with TTM's culture, financial objectives and workforce strategy; Effectively communicate progress, initiatives and relevant impacts to a variety of internal audiences

  • Lead the annual global compensation planning process; this includes the salary/merit review, incentive, and equity compensation awards; Ensure linkages and alignment to talent management processes including performance and talent reviews

  • Provide strategic oversight, leadership and expertise ensuring that all compensation and pay practices are compliant with pertinent regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, those enforced by local/federal government; Support diversity and inclusion strategies by implementing policies and metrics to report on and achieve pay equity, career development and promotion action goals across our diverse workforce

  • Provide strategic leadership and influence to various benefit programs (including health, wellness and retirement), serving as committee leadership while directing the internal team and our external vendors/partners to ensure meaningful innovation and service delivery

  • Deliver recognition program designs, communications, and overall management that tie in with our overall people strategy, including at the supervisor level

  • Advance the global job alignment and development project, which provides an underlying structure of job classifications, career paths, leveling, title harmonization and salary structure alignment t to ensure universal understanding, application and tie-in with talent programs

HRIS:

  • Oversee multi-year HR technology roadmap to include follow on modules within Workday platform; Evaluate additional modules for future consideration and implementation

  • Harmonize and perfect reporting functionality on established schedules to include dashboards. Evaluate supplemental analytical tools and applications that would enhance reporting and dashboard creation and delivery

  • Introduce creative and innovative approaches and new technology tools for consideration that upgrade or replace existing infrastructure

  • Establish integrated approach to projects that reflects business inputs and leverages broader teams

  • Educate and train users (HR, Managers, and Employees) to maximize and leverage HRIS capabilities and ensure increased data integrity and accountability for system records and utilization of process workflows

  • Continually evaluate and monitor policies, procedures and processes for opportunity for automation and implementation within the global Workday platform

HR Shared Services & Payroll:

  • Evaluate HR Shared Services model and design through analysis of best practices & benchmarking, implementation, change communications in partnership with other entities and key stakeholders

  • Design and communicate shared services center capabilities that best support employees and provides system-wide, world-class employee experience

  • Establish routine reporting/dashboards for both NA and AP shared services to measure productivity and improve efficiency

  • Complete multi-year Asia payroll integration project

  • Leverage technology opportunities in concert with IT function to measure and improve service delivery

  • Enable the growth and capability development of the shared services function to continue to improve processes, reduce redundancy of activities at the site level and to increasingly take on administrative processes centrally

At Large:

  • Provide engaging leadership for global functions through creating purpose, alignment and fostering commitment. Drives a culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement, and work automation

  • Direct reports include: Director, NA Total Rewards; Director, AP Total Rewards; Sr. Director, HRIS & HR Shared Services. Peer relationships with Global HR Team include Regional HR Business Partners and Sr. Director, Talent

  • Anticipate HR issues and engage HR customers by gathering insights and feedback on their HR experience to drive adoption and implementation of technology enhancements, solutions and partnerships to increase efficiencies

  • Lead performance management & talent review process with close coordination with HR business partners and talent teams

  • Responsible for domestic and international mobility function to include policy, vendor management and overall coordination

  • Develop (or refine) applicable policies and overall management to include effective communications and integration into work processes and infrastructure

  • Excellent communication and listening skills; Ability to deliver clear, understandable, unambiguous, engaging and convincing presentations for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders; Able to establish strong relationships with teams and individuals working remotely, across time zones and continents

  • Ability to work on multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality

  • Ability to remain calm and composed at times of uncertainty and stress

  • Key HR functional experience in rewards, technology/systems, or shared services. Generalist/HR business partner experience a plus

  • Manufacturing experience with Multi-national Corporation; experience in AP and/or EMEA

  • Exceptional evaluation and management of key vendors, technology and systems

  • Travel expectations are limited other than to build relationships, attend/lead internal HR summits, and participate in TTM Sr. Leadership Conferences

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools.

  • Workday experience is a plus

  • GPHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP

Education & Experience:

Education: BS/BA required, MBA preferred

Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR experience

Export Statement:

a) Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures at the plant level. c) Provide training, assistance and support to all departments to ensure policy compliance. d) Conduct periodic audits as required. e) Prepare and submit ITAR and EAR license application documentation as required. f) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
