Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an executive recruiter to join our growing Investment Management Talent Acquisition team. As an executive recruiter at Morgan Stanley, we are looking for an individual who has experience in attracting, identifying, assessing, and advising on hiring the best, most diverse executive leadership talent.

This role requires deep sourcing experience, and you will have the opportunity to source candidates for Executive Leadership roles partnering with our executive recruiting team to provide a white glove experience and to land key talent.

As an executive recruiter you will own and execute on Executive Director and Managing Director-level searches and will be well-versed in all aspects of an executive search including research, candidate generation, senior client management, offer negotiations with multiple components of compensations. This role manages the full life cycle of recruiting from research, sourcing, and talent mapping to leading debriefs and offers.

Reporting to the Head of Investment Management Talent Acquisition, you'll develop recruitment strategies and lead search engagements to position the Company to achieve its business strategy. You will work on a range of global projects, including executive searches, talent planning, external bench building, and market intelligence.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Provide an extraordinary level of support to senior leaders in sourcing, engaging, and recruiting future leaders of the company, with a focus on diversity




Conduct research and build out talent networks to develop a map of targeted talent, companies, and geographies based on role types




Drive strategic conversations with business partners around sourcing and hiring strategies to meet business objectives.




Source active and passive candidates through creative and strategic sourcing methods including, but not limited to, employee referrals, networking, research, and advanced search tools.




Deliver insightful regular updates on the market, competitor analysis, and market news




Developing prospects for both open and opportunistic openings, assessing and screening, and making recommendations to leadership




Present a shortlist of qualified candidates and provide their profile summaries in detail.




Lead C-level client meetings and communications on search progress and candidate engagement techniques




Assess candidates to ensure company compatibility, qualification match, and cultural fit.




Design and negotiate complex compensation packages and close offers with executive candidates




Following up with clients and assist them with candidate onboarding as well as transition processes.




Provide a high-touch, thorough, top-notch candidate experience for both internal and external candidates




Communicate regular updates to senior management within HR



Job Requirements:



7+ years of corporate and/or agency Executive Recruiting or Executive Sourcing experience supporting roles (Executive Director level and above)




Proven track record of leading, advising, and influencing executive leadership




Experience with the sourcing of candidates using various tools/technologies




Home Office: Prior experience recruiting for Financial Services, Consulting, Accounting or Technology industries




Field: Prior Wealth Management recruiting experience a plus; prior Financial Services recruiting experience required




Compelling communicator - both verbally and in writing - that engages and influences senior stakeholders



Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
