Job Title: Vice President, ETF Operations & Administration

Department: Investment Administration

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Fund Administration

Estimated Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

Job Summary:

Provide oversight of all aspects of fund administration and investment operations including regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and third-party oversight of service providers for exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • ETF Operations (e.g. cash management, creation/redemption process, reconciliation).

  • Custody framework & operations.

  • Trade Operations (e.g. end-to-end oversight of the trade lifecycle including clearing and settlement).

  • Support Distribution ecosystem including working with capital markets team (e.g. end-to-end process workflow, partner interactions/dependencies, fund accounting aspects, process nuances).

  • Ensure daily key deliverables are published to DTCC/NSCC/Firm Website.

  • Assist in planning and coordination of various business initiatives (e.g. fund launches, mergers, liquidations, etc.). This would include liaising with other internal departments and external service providers to bring new products to market.

  • Participate in industry working groups and initiatives and stay updated on developments in the broader ETF ecosystem.

  • Assist in board reporting and ad-hoc reporting requirement across the firm.

  • Assist in review of disclosure, accuracy and integrity of semi-annual and annual financial statements.

  • Assist in oversight of Valuation Policy and Procedures including supporting the Valuation Committee in determining fair value prices.

  • Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual dividends and distributions are properly calculated and distributed according to the funds' policies.

  • Monitor third party relationships including conducting onsite due diligence reviews; establish minimum service levels and reporting requirements.

  • Review expense budgets and payments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of direct ETF servicing experience as well as ETF accounting and administration.

  • Excellent understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Regulation S/X and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

  • Experience interacting with senior level management.

  • Solid understanding of various investments and derivative products including valuation.

  • Strong writing, technical, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
