Responsibilities

As a Vice President overseeing our Data Quality function, you will be responsible for implementing best practices in data quality processes and methodologies across the organization. Your role will involve deploying data quality reporting, monitoring, and SLAs into operational areas. Additionally, you will advise on product and operational improvements necessary to optimize data quality and availably at scale. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement best practices in data quality processes and methodologies. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data quality management to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data quality measures into existing systems and processes. Work closely with IT, functional areas, and business units to ensure alignment of data quality initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Provide strategic guidance on data operating models across the organization. Evaluate current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to optimize data quality and availability.

  • Implement data quality reporting, monitoring, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) into operational areas across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key metrics and establish benchmarks for data quality.

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data quality measures. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance data quality and mitigate risks.

  • Establish performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of data quality measures. Regularly report on the performance of data quality initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Create a centralized Issue Management and Resolution function to monitor, match, and resolve data quality issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in data management, data quality, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of implementing data quality processes in large organizations.

  • Strong understanding of data quality methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Base Salary Range

$160,000 - $200,000

In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
