About the Role
The VP, Client Development will ideally be located in New York, Philadelphia or Chicago. This person will focus on prospecting and securing new customers across Lifestyle Brand categories including retail, beauty, fashion, travel and tourism, and technology.
This candidate should have a proven sales record having developed new accounts selling consultative-style services. They should also have solid comprehension and practical experience with digital marketing and all major social media platforms - understanding their unique place in the marketing mix. They will need to stay up to date with the latest in pop culture, business, and marketing, understanding how that plays an important role in our research and client engagement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work alongside product development and communications to create strategic plans for penetrating new markets
Prospecting and pitching to net new potential clients in select verticals
Growing the business against specified revenue goals
See the sales process through to proposal creation and delivery
Take advantage of cross-sell opportunities across the MarketCast Group of companies
Report progress weekly to senior leadership and MarketCast Group executive team
A proven sales record with a consultative sales style background, with a resume full of success stories specific to sales growth
An entrepreneurial spirit with a curious mind, top-notch writer/editor, and creative thinker
Ability to work under pressure and navigate deadlines while still providing successful results
Proficiency in Google Drive & Microsoft Office applications; ability to adapt to additional internal applications and software (Pipedrive)
7+ years working in a business development/client management role
Advertising agency, SaaS and/or research agency experience
Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 25 lbs. without restrictions
Requires many hours of working in front of a computer and extended periods of telephone use
Visual acuity (8-10 hours viewing computer)
