Vice President, Business Development

As a Vice President, Business Development you would:

• Seek out and source new clients by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for sales and business development.

• Maintain understanding of INOVA's credit policies and risk management and applicable regulations and compliance requirements.

• Apply understanding of prudent loan structuring in reviewing new and existing lending commitments.

• Develop a relationship with the Small Business Administration, and SBA vendors, and originate commercial loans that qualify, when appropriate, to reduce INOVA's risk level while providing the borrower a solution.

• Collaborate with third party lenders and loan brokers to sell or participate Small Business Administration loans or pools, subject to INOVA liquidity needs, and providing a source of fee and servicing income.

• Effectively manage the tracking of call activity and pipeline opportunities.

• Maintain an understanding of current commercial offerings and structures, while staying informed of relevant lending industry trends.

• Review and analyze financial information of clients and/or prospects, while maintaining required periodic financial information on an ongoing basis.

• Participate as part of the Executive Loan Review Committee by preparing and presenting credit memorandums and analyzing and decisioning other lender presentations.

This role requires the following related education or equivalent combination with experience and training.

• Associates or Bachelor Degree in a Business related field
• 5 years minimum experience in Commercial Lending and Sales
