Job Description

Summary:

Manage and expand an existing loan portfolio of Business Banking customers while also assisting bank partners with the development of new relationships. Business Banking customers are those that generally have revenues under $10,000,000 and loan needs under $1,000,000. It is expected that the role be proactive in providing financial solutions to both existing and prospective clients. Also responsible for developing sound and profitable business relationships, assessing credit, and exceeding customer needs and expectations while complying with regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service Business Banking relationships by working closely with customers, focusing on relationship retention. These relationships will be located in all LANB markets (Albuquerque, Los Alamos and Santa Fe) and will require travel to each of these markets.

  • Evaluate pertinent financial information and determine whether a credit is an acceptable risk.

  • Approve loans within assigned lending authority according to company policies and procedures.

  • Recommend credits outside lending authority to the next level in accordance with established procedures.

  • Monitor existing loans for delinquencies as well as conformity to terms and conditions.

  • Work closely with Branch Managers and lobby staff to cross-sell additional bank products and services.

  • Monitor market conditions, observe competitor impact and make recommendations to maintain competitive and profitable product line.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services, including loans, cash management, credit cards and deposits to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.

  • Frequently represent the bank in the business community; actively develop relationships with business owners, C-level execs, COIs, etc. and build a network of prospective bank customers.

  • Monitor the financial health of borrowers/guarantors and analyze financial statements.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must have demonstrated skills in commercial credit underwriting, business development and portfolio management for small-to-mid-sized companies.

  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Superb people skills to work within a team environment and successfully develop and retain client relationships.

  • Proven ability to cross-sell other banking products, including loans, deposits and treasury management.

  • Self-motivated to work independently and take ownership.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills are required.

  • Must be attentive to detail and accurate when analyzing financial statements and presenting a credit package for formal approval.

  • This position requires the use of sound business discretion, good judgment, and excellent problem solving skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of regulations, compliance standards, market trends and products relating to the banking industry.

  • Superior analytical and decision making skills based on a thoughtful assessment of risk.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university

  • Five to seven years related experience and training in Commercial and/or Business Banking

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Microsoft Office

  • Salesforce

  • Google Mail

The individual will be responsible for the overall success of our Contact Center operations. They will refine and maintain efficient support models, operating practices, metrics, and feedback to ensure exceptional member experiences via channels of phone, chat, email, and video. They will serve as part of the leadership team, contributing to the development and implementation of the overall strategic plan. Primary Duties: * Oversees call center operations including adherence to metrics/KPIs, development of strategies to train and align staff, evaluation of member call data, ensuring efficient and effective practices in all areas of member contact. * Provides routine reporting of operations and develops written recommendation (proposals) supporting improvement and growth focusing on repeatable and scalable strategies, accuracy and integration of systems, metrics adherence, new technology development, process improvement, and best in class experiences. * Oversees, coordinates and assists in the daily activity of the contact center to include assignment of duties and special projects, monitoring workload and productivity, planning and prioritization, incoming requests and problem resolution. * Leads and manages subordinates with respect to hires, training, development and evaluation of employee performance within the department in accordance to our performance management framework. * Participates in organizational initiatives/projects as related to department. Requirements Qualifications: * Five to eight years of similar or related experience. * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. * Extensive knowledge and experience related to call center operations including development of multi-channel key performance indicators/metrics and accountability strategies. * Ability to develop and implement efficient and effective programs using industry and best practice data to deliver exceptional member service. * Strong background in technical systems supporting call centers, and process improvement efforts using formal implementation strategies (project management and formal documentation). * Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.
