Role Details:

CBS Sports Digital is seeking an entrepreneurial business leader, with proven experience building and converting digital audiences into online sports books and/or fantasy games. This role will oversee an audience development strategy spanning CBS Sports Digital's portfolio of properties, to drive sports gambling, games, and subscription related revenue. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader, able to manage a diverse and dynamic team, communicate an ambitious vision, and build and execute on a plan. The candidate must have a deep understanding of the sports gambling and fantasy sports spaces, and a history of building high performing teams.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage business P&Ls and deliver on top and bottom line financial targets

  • Build and effectively communicate audience development and customer acquisition strategies for sports gambling business

  • Drive customer acquisition for sports subscription businesses

  • Manage affiliate marketing funnels for partnerships

  • Collaboratively develop digital product and content plans to achieve audience development goals

  • Manage and lead cross functional teams of marketers, content creators, developers, designers, and product managers

  • Track and deliver on key business metrics and financial targets

  • Hire and develop a diverse and dynamic high performing team, capable of working across the business to hit audience and revenue targets

  • Build relationships with internal CBS partners and leadership teams

  • Collaborate closely with strategic partners

  • Maintain a deep knowledge of and connection within the sports gambling and gaming industries

Key Projects:

  • Create CBS Sports Digital content, games, and product strategy to hit audience acquisition and conversion targets

  • Build high performing audience development team to support gambling, games, and sports subscription product business

  • Develop operational metrics and dashboards to drive measurable success


What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • Expertise in digital sports media, sports gambling and gaming

  • Experience building fantasy sports games or content businesses

  • Experience with sports gambling affiliate marketing programs

  • History of developing and growing large digital audiences

  • Experience managing P&L's, developing and implementing profitable strategies

  • Proven experience leading digital teams in managerial positions

  • Experience with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.and managing cross-functional teams, including marketing, technology, and content

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills

  • MS/MA in business administration or relevant field
