Job Description

The VP, Account Services is a mature leader who develops a portfolio of accounts, or several lines of a large client's business. The VP is first the point of escalation for clients. This role includes successful management of a large team, including career development, resourcing and hiring. VP holds accountability for the health of the client businesses to the agency both financially and relationship-wise. A VP must adeptly navigate internal and external politics. Strong financial understanding, and experience pricing, pitching and winning business is a must. This role includes leading net-new business opportunities for the agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the health of the business, actively uncover opportunities and grow business through thought leadership, client/category expertise and consistent delivery of good work, and forecast revenue with Finance team.

  • Be an expert on the client's business and industry (including direct and indirect competitors); present key category and out-of-category best in class examples of innovation, programs and trends to inspire the internal team and clients.

  • Provide POV as the work goes into the engine at major milestones and when it becomes the final product to determine if it delivers on the objectives and strategy set forth initially; provide final approval on key initiatives, presentations and work output.

  • Investigate and assuage client concerns related to agency and work to resolve them with the appropriate cross-functional leads.

  • Manage, mentor & develop staff of Account team members; identify development opportunities to help them work toward their professional goals.

  • Provide creative and strategic POV's for ongoing work.

Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of professional experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in an agency with a mix of digital, CRM, and brand experience preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience with team management and staff development.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients or lines of business with revenue between $5mm - $15mm and grow agency revenue.

  • Skilled in presenting to senior level clients (existing or new prospects) and large room of people.

  • Ability to inspire people to do great work and sell a point of view or ideas through storytelling.

Compensation Range: $173,000- $199,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
