The Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Memorial Health Care and UMass Medical School is recruiting an experienced Family Medicine physician as our next Vice Chair for Clinical Services. The Vice Chair for Clinical Services is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and contributes to the planning and execution of the Departmental mission, goals and objectives.

The department is fully engaged in practice transformation guided by the Quadruple Aim of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. The Vice Chair will have the assistance of a biostatistician to employ clinical and survey data to drive change.

Responsibilities include oversight of: Quality improvement, credentialing and privileging, faculty recruitment, and other roles as directed by the Department Chair.

We are currently accepting applications and seek candidates Board Certified in Family Medicine with extensive experience in clinical service management, quality, and physician supervision. Our ideal candidates will have prior clinical and teaching experience at an academic healthcare system and an interest in teaching/precepting students and residents, and mentoring faculty. Advanced management or MPH degree is desirable.

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Integrated Team Program Director in Worcester. Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) is a comprehensive clinically focused service anchored by a multi-disciplinary team that provides clinical coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through an integrated team led by clinical staff. ACCS serves adults 18 years of age or older with a significant mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions, employment support and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals residing in all housing settings. The Persons served through ACCS reside in group living environments, supported individual environments, Intensive clinical or Intensive Medical group living environments or in independent living environments in the community. This position will provide administrative leadership (Administrator in charge), Supervision of Assistant Program Directors and Specialty Site Managers, and direction of the Integrated Teams and Intensive Group Living Environments. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification. * Provide clinical supervision and assist with assessments and treatment planning when Assistant Program Director is unavailable. * Collaborate with the program staff, coordinators, and directors to provide clinical support and consultation around Persons who have complex medical needs and who present with heightened symptoms and increased behavioral risks. * Work with Peer Specialists to ensure that peer-to-peer counseling and self-help options (particularly WRAP) are promoted and integrated into the ACCS system. * Ensure that the best practices of care such as Motivational Interviewing, Stages of Change: Self Sufficiency Matrix, Harm Reduction, Housing First, WRAP, etc. are integrated. * Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors. Qualifications * Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) required LICSW * Minimum of 5 years of experience in community mental health and 2 years experience in management. * Knowledge and experience with trauma informed care, evidence-based practices, psychosocial rehabilitation model and recovery principles. * Current valid US-issued drivers license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in a personal vehicle or company van and travel between work sites * Must be able to pass a CORI background check Community Healthlink is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity Employer.
