Veternary Assistant

We are a small clinic with a big heart. We have a teaching culture and an inclusive, friendly team.

We see dogs and cats only. Our busy hospital is focused on quality medicine and performs surgeries weekly.

At VCA Animal Hospitals, we are looking to add full or part-time team members to our hospital! We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person's individual skill and personality. There is something special about you and we are excited to learn more!

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Duties will include:

Restraint for domestic and exotic animals

Venipuncture for blood draws

Injections for vaccines and medications

Maintaining medical records.

Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.

Filling prescriptions.

Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
