The skills our Oncology Veterinary Technicians/Assistants excel at are phlebotomy, and may be trained to administer chemotherapy using our safe closed system devices to administer chemotherapy treatments. Our Oncology team is trained to develop strong knowledge of all chemotherapy agents used in our practice while wearing up to date PPE. Angell technicians and assistants also practice the most up to date safety guidelines and will soon be working in a newly renovated environment using all federal and state safety regulations.

Our Oncology team participates in daily Rounds to review the current day patient’s treatment plans. Our veterinary medical oncology technicians and Assistants develops strong bonds with owners pet’s undergo treatment, with the focus to provide the best quality of life for our patients. To be hired as a Veterinary Assistant, applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience as a veterinary assistant in an animal clinic or hospital.
