Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical suite, equipment and materials for surgical procedures

• Assist surgeons and veterinary staff during surgeries

• Maintain sterile environment within surgical suite

• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment

• monitor patients during and after surgical procedures

• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures

• Assist with post-operative care and monitoring of patients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred but not required

• Minimum of 1-2 years working in a veterinary surgical setting

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Compassion toward animals as well as their owners.
