Job Description

Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, California. MASH is proud to offer a superior quality of veterinary Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Neurology, Acupuncture, and Nutrition, along with an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Team. MASH also provides Dentistry, specifically focused on craniomaxillofacial trauma.

We are looking for a VTS-ECC professional who is passionate about patient care and cutting-edge medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Mastery of advanced nursing skills related to emergency and critical care.

  • Support veterinarians to ensure exceptional veterinary care, advocate for patients, and educate clients.

  • Understanding ECC patient's condition and treatment and your role in nursing management.

  • Advanced skill in emergency action directed toward assessing, treating, and stabilizing a patient with an urgent medical problem.

  • Advanced skill in the treatment of a patient with a life-threatening or potentially life-threatening illness or injury.

  • Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing various technical skills.

  • Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

  • Constantly advance your knowledge base and skill set.

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $38 - $50 per hour. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.

The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
