Veterinary Technician Overnights

VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking a full time Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join the team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT.

Veterinary Technician duties:

• Anesthesia monitoring

• Full Technician Skill Utilization

• Collecting patient histories & physical exams

• Venipuncture / IVC placement

• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time (Four 10 hr shifts), Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday.

Pay Differentials Available

$3.00 / hr from 11p

• 7a

$2.00 / hr Weekends! (Friday 6pm

• Monday 8am)

Both differentials apply to the weekend.

Compensation: $20 - 35 / hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (CVT, VTS, CVPM)
