We are a multi-hospital practice group located in Downtown Manhattan that is looking to hire a License Eligible Veterinary Assistant. We believe in fear free methods, providing high quality care and medicine for general practice in preventative medicine, maintenance for acute and chronic diseases, surgery, dentistry, as well as some alternatives such as cold laser therapy, acupuncture and homeopathy. Our practices work as a network with shared medical records and the capability of offering proper in house hospitalization and medical boarding care for our patients. We also believe in taking care of different stages in a pet's life and offer puppy and kitten socialization as well as pet loss support for our patients and clients. License Eligible Veterinary Assistants MUST have:
Active Enrollment in Veterinary Technician Program
Great communication skills in person, on the phone and over e-mail (speak clearly and write legibly)
Good computer skills
Multi-tasking abilities and be detail oriented
Compassion for patients and for what you do
Desire to want to help
Good work ethic
Ability to educate clients
