Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital in Scottsdale is adding a part-time and/or full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to our team. Our hospital is routed in the community and our clients and team members are like family.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous veterinary experience REQUIRED
  • Previous surgical preparation and assistance
  • Passion for learning & caring for animals
  • Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team
  • Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Cornerstone knowledge is a plus (not required)
  • Outstanding client service and exceptional patient care
  • A great attendance and punctuality record is a MUST!

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Triage of patients
  • Collection and analysis of lab samples
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Management and nursing care of hospitalized pets
  • Administration of enteral and parenteral medications
  • Effective communication with team members and clients
  • An understanding of vaccines and preventative protocols
  • Most importantly: loving what you do

Scheduled hours may vary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37 per week
