Veterinary Technician Assistant

Eye Care for Animals is seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant (30+ hours) to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. Practice hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. We have two locations within Tucson, Arizona.

Job Duties:

Assist with exam rooms as needed, including taking patient histories

Maintenance and cleaning of exam rooms

Maintenance and cleaning of office, kennels and the surgical suite (including surgical setup)

Animal restraint

Handling/packing of sterilized surgical instruments

Client communications including the review of medication and discharge instructions

Cross-trained in front office duties to include answering the phone, refilling medications and checking clients in/out
