Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking to add a full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to their team!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinarian technicians to ensure quality veterinary care and advocate for pets.

  • With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.

  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.

  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Ideally has veterinary experience as a technician's assistant or kennel position

  • is hard working and passionate about the care and well-being of animals.

  • has experience working with animals in a medical setting

  • works well on a team as well as independently.

  • has the ability to life up to 30lbs.

  • Prepare animals and instruments for surgery

  • Provide surgical assistance and post-operative care

  • Possesses a positive work attitude

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Is committed to a stress-free environment for our patients

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $15-17/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
