Are you passionate about animals and looking for a role where you can make a difference every day? Dent County Veterinary Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets!
What You’ll Do:
- Client Care: Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, both in person and over the phone, ensuring that every client and pet feels welcome and cared for.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the clinic’s appointment calendar efficiently, coordinating with veterinarians and technicians to ensure a smooth flow of appointments throughout the day.
- Administrative Support: Handle client paperwork, process payments, and manage billing and invoicing in a timely manner.
- Communication: Respond to client inquiries and provide helpful information on clinic services, ensuring that clients understand their pet’s treatment plans and clinic policies.
- Multitasking: Juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, including checking clients in and out, handling phone calls, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Veterinary or Medical Experience: Previous experience working in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred, as it gives you insight into the pace and nature of the work.
- Reception Experience: At least 1 year of reception or customer service experience is required, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: You’ll be the voice and face of our clinic, so strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Team Player: Our clinic is a collaborative environment, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive, tight-knit team.
Tech-Savvy: Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and phone systems is a must, as you’ll be handling multiple digital tasks throughout the day.
