More About the Position:

Hours Worked: This position is a year round, 40 hours per week position and a Flexible Work Plan is available. Shifts can be anytime during the hours of Monday

  • Friday from 6:45am

  • 6:15pm and rotating Saturday shifts from 7:45am

  • 12:30pm, closed Sunday. Hours of operation may vary and flexibility to work any shift is a must.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills

  • Values teamwork and accepts coaching/feedback

  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

  • One year or more of customer service in a professional office setting is preferred

  • Prior veterinary hospital experience and experience with Cornerstone software is a plus!

Duties:

  • Greeting and assisting clients in hospital

  • Check patients in and out for services and processing payments

  • Frequent sanitation using veterinary disinfectants

  • Scheduling and confirming patient wellness/illness/surgical appointments

  • Answering/placing calls and conveying messages clearly; verbally, written, or electronically

  • Medical record management: filing, scanning, faxing and maintaining forms/office supplies

  • The ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

  • Assist in facility maintenance such as light shoveling or removal of animal waste
