Job Description

Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a Dentist to join our expanding team.

CVRC was built as a 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in 2011. We are embarking on an expansion to 32,000 square feet, and a dentistry suite will be included.

We have a full in-house lab, digital radiography, multiple ultrasound and echo machines, CT, MRI, EMG, fluoroscopy, in-house blood bank, and rehabilitation service. The ICU is equipped to provide the highest level of care, including mechanical ventilation. We have a full endoscopy suite with flexible and rigid scopes, a Stryker 1188 system for minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy), and a fully functional Cath lab.

CVRC is singularly committed to and focused on delivering exceptional patient care and an exceptional client experience. We have full-time, board-certified specialists in the disciplines of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Oncology, and Rehabilitation.

We have a team of 10 emergency clinicians, all either internship trained or with 3 years' prior experience. We have a strong belief in a team-based approach to medicine. Our specialists and emergency doctors work very closely together, with the emergency service supported 24/7/365 by our specialists, ensuring the best care from the time of admission to CVRC.

Our technical staff is highly skilled (including several VTS personnel in ECC, IM, and Anesthesia), and our patient care and client service are unparalleled. In 2013, we were certified as a VECCS Level 1 facility, and CVRC remains the only VECCS Level 1 facility in South Carolina.

We are seeking an individual who practices the highest quality of medicine, is committed to a collaborative team approach, and is dedicated to contributing to a positive work culture for everyone in the hospital. Candidates should be passionate, strive for excellence, have great interpersonal skills, and approach patients and clients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

CVRC's management team is committed to these goals and strives to support our clinicians. We recognize that our clinicians and support staff are our most important assets, and we value each as both an employee and an individual.

CVRC offers an excellent and highly competitive benefit and compensation package. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, pet insurance, PTO, sign-on bonus, CE contributions, and a 401k plan with match.

CVRC is a proud member of the Compassion-First Pet Hospitals' family of highly respected specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals across the United States. We value individuality and innovation at the practice level, while recognizing the power and promise of collaboration.

Charleston has been rated one of the top relocation and vacation destinations in the United States and has miles of beaches, a myriad of outdoor activities and cultural events, and an historic charm that is second to none. It is an exceptionally pet-friendly city, with one of the highest percentages of pet-owning households in the country.
