Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Marathon Veterinary Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is now hiring a Full-Time Customer Service Representative to join their AMAZING team!

The ideal candidate must have an open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Our ideal candidate is a team-player and self-starter. Must be friendly, confident, outgoing, pet and people-oriented and have excellent communication and client service skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for clients by phone, email and in-person providing exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Schedule appointments efficiently, following leaderships guidance as to scheduling requirements and recommendations

• Process and document payment efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit cards and other forms of Payment

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the practice management software (Vetspire)

• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming reception area

Requirements

• Previous veterinary or medical office experience strongly preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex information

• Ability to both work independently and as part of a team

• A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
