Job Description

Sage San Francisco is seeking a team of criticalists to join our outstanding ER and specialty team and build a Critical Care Service.

Are you looking to collaborate with a brilliant and diverse community of doctors focused on maintaining an exemplary hospital culture? Do you want to be part of building San Francisco's premier specialty and emergency hospital?

If so, SAGE Veterinary Centers San Francisco wants to hear from you! We are seeking a team of criticalists to join our outstanding ER and specialty team and build a Critical Care Service.

Our team includes specialists in cardiology and surgery; a part-time radiologist on site five mornings a week; a boarded internist for on-call endoscopy; an experienced ER team including multiple surgery-internship trained emergency doctors and the regional SAGE anesthesiology group available for on-call and in-hospital support. We are actively recruiting for 3 internal medicine specialists, a cardiologist, and a radiologist to round out our existing services as well as a neurologist and medical oncologist to finish building out of team.

Support staff includes a highly trained team of RVT's including a VTS in ECC with 2-3 RVT's on each shift to manage in-patients. Our facility includes a fully equipped ICU, a ventilator, full clinical lab with 2 TEG 5000 unites, three modern surgical suites with minimally invasive surgery capabilities, C-arm, as well as on-site CT and MRI.

The hospital is located in the Mission District, a vibrant mix of residential, workplace, dining, and retail spaces. We are within walking distance from the beautiful and eclectic Mission Dolores Park where residents and their pets amass every weekend to soak up the views, vibes, and sunshine.

We share the neighborhood and foster close ties with multiple pet boarding facilities, the city's busiest primary care and animal shelter practice, a senior dog rescue, and the animal care and control department. The city is a recreation paradise featuring easy access to biking, hiking, surfing, and countless adventures. We are within day-trip driving distance to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, the Napa/Sonoma wine regions, and the breathtaking California coast
