Job Description

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a Criticalist to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Our close-knit hospital team consists of 2 Internists, 2 Radiologists, 3 Surgeons, an Anesthesiologist, 2 Ophthalmologists, 2 Medical Oncologists, 2 Cardiologists, and a large team of dedicated Emergency Veterinarians.

Our current hospital includes: 12 exam rooms, 3 surgery suites, a 30 cage ICU, an 8-table treatment area, endoscopy, continuous glucose monitoring, echocardiography suite, in-house blood analyzers, hi-flow oxygen unit, critical care ventilator, digital radiography, CT and ultrasound.

In early 2024 we will be moving to our beautiful new 26,000 purpose-built hospital. We will then extend our services to include Neurology and in 2025 Radiation Oncology. Our hospital will have an updated 256 slice CT, Fluoroscopy/C-Arm suite, MRI, dedicated room for dialysis, and a new Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with IMRT, VMAT and SRT.
