Veterinary Client Service Representative (Late Swing/Overnight)

Pet Emergency & Specialty Center East is seeking a customer service representative to join our team!

Veterinary field experience is required for this role.

In this role, you are an ambassador to our clients and your main focus is to ensure that our client's needs are met in a timely manner while demonstrating a sincere compassion for our clients and patients. You are the liaison between the client and the medical staff and are responsible for maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow between the front office and the technical staff. You will be performing public relations and clerical responsibilities and must be detail-oriented and work well under pressure.

Hourly Wage: $18-$21/hr depending on experience and skillset

PESC East has the following shift differentials:

• 7pm-12am- $1.50 hr

• 12am-7am- $4.00 hr

• Sat & Sun days 7am-7pm- $1.00 hr

Schedule: 10 hour shifts

Shifts: 2 Overnight schedules available: Sunday-Wednesday 8:30pm-7am and Wednesday-Saturday 8:30pm-7am, and 1 swing schedule available (shift times and days will vary)

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet clients and their pets with prompt professionalism and courtesy

• Enter/Update client information in Practice Management system

• Admit incoming patients

• Present treatment plans & invoice for services

• Discharge outgoing patients

• Schedule and confirm appointments

• Accurately take client payments

• Maintain confidential medical records

• Maintain all aspects of work place organization and cleanliness

• Answer incoming phone calls

• Scan and file medical records

• Fax/ E-mail information to client and primary veterinarian medical staff

• Facilitate obtaining medical records from primary veterinarians

• Provide options to clients and obtains signatures on corresponding legal forms

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Management team
