Veterinary Assistant

$16.00-$18.00 an hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist doctors and vet techs in appointments

Provide superior client services

Restrain animals

Make sure all patients are clean and comfortable

Assist with all kennel/boarding duties

Inform clients of recommended services for their pets

Prepare exam rooms for incoming patients

Prepare medications as instructed by doctors

Walk, feed, and pick up after the animals

Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

Team-oriented

Ability to multi-task

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Preferred: 1 plus year veterinary experience or education
