Job Description

Animal Care Hospital on the Central Coast of California is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team!

We are a 2-doctor team that is growing and looking to bring on an exceptional veterinarian who wants to be part of our dynamic, client oriented and high-quality practice. Animal Care Hospital (ACH) is a full-service veterinary hospital offering preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, ultrasound and more.

If you love building relationships with clients, supporting your community, and working with an extremely collaborative team, then this is the opportunity for you.

What separates us from every other practice:

  • : We love to give back to the community we live in. We frequently work with the area shelters and often facilitate placements to ensure a good home. We also put together donations baskets and support our clients who are raising money for charitable organizations such as FFA, The Police Department Coptober Fest, and many more.

  • The caliber of our support staff is what allows us to provide the quality of care that is expected when clients bring in their pets. While some may say their practice has a family feel, we are confident in our team dynamics and its ability to offer the highest level of care to our community. Collaboration and comradery aren't just buzz words around here.

  • : Whether you are a new or recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to receive dedicated mentorship and collaborate with our 2 experienced veterinarians. Our doctors are extremely proficient with soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and ultrasound. We are excited to work with the next generation of veterinarians!

About the hospital:

  • Digital whole body and digital dental radiology

  • Samsung ultrasound including cardiac probe

  • Well-equipped surgery suite for both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries

  • Companion Class IV laser

  • Open Monday - Saturday

What we offer:

  • 3-day weekends! We can offer great work/life balance with our flexible scheduling and are happy to accommodate a schedule providing for 3-day weekends.

  • Our team is extremely collaborative and well supported. Each doctor will get the opportunity to work with 2 dedicated techs as well as receiving support from a floater.

  • Exposure and mentorship with complex and emergency cases.

  • Extremely competitive compensation package which includes full benefits (health, dental, vision), sign on and relocation support, dedicated CE days and allowance, 401k with matching and a robust PTO plan.
