Due West Animal Hospital has been a staple in Marietta for over 40 years. In 2022, a new facelift has rejuvenated us into a modern boutique, community practice providing preventative, sick care, and routine surgical and dental services. We want to rebuild a loyal clientele with a vet who is passionate about preventative care and client communication.

Due West Animal Hospital in Marietta is a small family hospital in the beautiful Kennesaw Mountain area of North Atlanta looking for a client oriented veterinarian who enjoys an excellent patient centered environment

A Due West Veterinarian will have the benefit of working at a lifestyle practice that is fear-free, utilizes state of the art technology and has a a mentoring program that allows you to develop and grow as a veterinarian. As a veterinarian you will be expected to care for the health of animals and work to protect public health. Diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals.

Duties

• Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems

• Treat and dress wounds

• Perform surgery on animals

• Test for and vaccinate against diseases

• Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines

• Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments

• Prescribe medication

• Euthanize animals

Veterinarians treat the injuries and illnesses of pets and other animals with a variety of medical equipment, including surgical tools and x-ray and ultrasound machines. Making a difference in the live of people by assisting their pets to live their best life.
