Job Description:

Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital is looking for Associate DVMs who are seeking positive life and career changes. We practice excellent medicine, nurture a compassionate and uplifting team environment, offer an exceptional compensation package, and understand the importance of and provide a de-stressing work-life balance! We're accepting applications for a limited time - contact us today.

We are a busy 4-doctor practice located in a gorgeous custom-designed hospital in Lebanon, NH. We focus on quality medical treatment rather than quantity of patients seen; people want the best care their pets, so our services are in high demand. Stoney Brook was established in 2009 and our reputation has helped created a large, loyal client-base as well as a constant stream of new clients seeking high-quality care for their pets.

Lebanon is a beautiful and quaint city in the Connecticut River Upper Valley, adjacent to Hanover (home of Dartmouth College), a stone's throw from Vermont, and about 2 hours north of Boston. New Hampshire and Vermont offer a multitude of hiking opportunities (including part of the Appalachian trail and Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States), countless lakes, and numerous ski resorts, and New Hampshire is home to the famous Kancamagus Highway, famous for "leaf peeping" during our amazing foliage display every Fall.

At Stoney Brook, we encourage our staff to progress clinically and professionally through continual education and training while working with our exceptional veterinarians. We are a progressive practice offering digital medical records, integration with Idexx, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a comprehensive in-house lab, companion laser therapy, Tono-Pen, Midmark dental equipment, and more. We specialize in:

  • small animal medicine

  • surgery

  • dentistry

  • diagnostic services

  • laser therapy

  • acupuncture

  • Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You are a strong multitasker.

  • You are interested in thorough case workup and follow-up.

  • You have strong soft tissue surgery skills.

  • You have at least basic dentistry skills.

  • You are interest in educating the support staff for the mutual benefit of the hospital.

Start with a Pro-Sal base, based on experience, plus $15K signing bonus and additional Retention Bonus!

Benefits include:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • Paid Vacation and Holidays

  • 401(k) with Employer Matching

  • Life Insurance

  • Employee Pet Discount

  • CE Allowance

  • Uniform Allowance

  • Short/Long Term Disability

  • Legal & Identity Theft Protection

  • Pet Insurance

  • Student Debt Refinancing

  • Four Day Work Week (with occasional Saturday half shift)

Are you looking for an active environment with frequent new and challenging cases?

Do you want to work in a team-oriented environment focused more on high-quality patient care than high-volume?

Come meet us and see what we're like!

VIEW JOBS 12/23/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-03-23T00:00 Job Description An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, we all have some things in common: an environment that is supportive, committed to excellent medicine, and provides exceptional service to animals and the people who love them. Students will work closely with the supervising DVMs to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creation of treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing/assisting or performing surgical procedures, and medical management of patients. In addition to practicing their clinical skills, student externs will have the opportunity to practice their communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients. Most externship experiences range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules. All DVM students (regardless of class year) are encouraged to participate in NVA externships. * < Back to search results National Veterinary Associates Lebanon NH
