Briarcliff Animal Clinic is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with an Emergency & Critical Care veterinarian on duty at all times to see clients and patients on a traige basis. In addition to our emergency service, we offer surgery and dentistry six days a week, as well as extended appointment hours for wellness and illness care.
Briarcliff Animal Clinic is seeking a Clinic Supervisor at our high quality, well established Extended Hours hospital in Northeast Atlanta! This position is responsible for supervising all treatment clinic/kennel staff. This includes performing vet tech duties as well as ensuring that all job functions in the treatment clinic are being properly performed, and all doctors are being assisted.
Clinic Supervisor Responsibilities:
Staff Management, such as: conducting meetings, conflict resolution, etc.
Preparing and administering performance reviews
Complete monthly schedule and ensure adequate coverage
Demonstrate solid veterinary clinical skills and be a role model for the team
Ensuring that the veterinarians are being assisted in the treatment clinic in a prompt manner
Ensuring that new clinic employees receive appropriate training for their position
Handling client communication with a professional and helpful attitude
Clinic Supervisor Requirements:
3+ years of clinical experience
Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology or comparable experience
Previous team leadership experience
Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to work in a team oriented environment
Must be able to multitask, and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities
Organize, motivate, coach, and can address issues in an open, tactful, and humble manner
