We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product to lead our product strategy in the modern truck market segment. This position drives the development of groundbreaking products that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to our continued growth in the modern truck market that serves trucks and SUVs built in the last 25 years.

Position Overview: As the Director of Product for the Modern Truck Segment, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development function across all modern truck products from all of Holley's portfolio of iconic brands. You will lead product strategy focusing on this segment, including product ideation, development, pricing, and channel strategy. This position works closely with the product category management team that is closely aligned with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to execute the modern truck segment strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, your strategic insights and leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's product roadmap and achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the modern truck market segment that aligns with the company's overall goals and market trends.

  • Define prioritize and execute product initiatives based on business impact by working closely with business unit and product category leadership.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure the product roadmap supports the company's long-term vision and growth plans.

  • Product Strategy:

  • Lead all product strategy within the Modern Truck segment including product ideation, , pricing, and distribution channel strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with product category management and engineering leaders to ensure the timely and successful execution of product plans by leveraging the phase-gate process.

  • Transform market insights into strategic annual and 3 year product roadmaps that address customer needs, differentiate our offerings, and drive market leadership

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks, taking proactive measures to keep projects on track.

  • Market Expertise:

  • Holds a deep understanding of the Modern Truck aftermarkets parts and accessories business, including customer expertise, industry dynamics, technological advancements and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities that align with Holley's strengths or strategic priorities.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments, including sales, marketing, customer support, and operations.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for product launches.

  • Performance Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance, customer satisfaction, and business impact within the Modern Truck market segment.

  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in product experience in the modern truck market segment, with a proven track record of delivering successful products to market.

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with phase gate process and product management tools.

  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and leverage analytics to drive product improvements.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
