The Boeing Company is seeking a Versatile Technologist 2 - Factory Automation that will support installation, operation, security and maintenance of Information Technology Infrastructure supporting our factory production automation tools and operations systems required to produce parts, assemble complete products and deliver products to our customers. This position is located in Saint Louis, MO.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Analyzing factory automation tool infrastructures to improve the tools production readiness, availability, supportability and overall security.
Ensuring factory automation tools conform with standard architectural objective.
Integrating factory automation tools into the factory security architecture.
Performing a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities.
Installation, configuration and maintenance of systems hardware, software and components.
Preparing release planning for software and hardware across the system.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2 years computer hardware/software and Windows System Administration including installation, patching, troubleshooting
2 years integrating hardware and software components into a functional system
1 years documenting instructions to perform all of the above
1 years working with Active Directory, Group Policy, McAfee, firewall/packetfilter and networking
Experience working with COTS installation and troubleshooting a Windows environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
CompTIA A+ certification
Experience with project management principles; assign and work tasks to support multiple projects
Experience with Global Policy Object (GPO) configuration
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting CISCO and/or Extreme networks
Experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
