Overview
The State of Vermont Information Center Division (VICD) is seeking a Program Services Tech III to serve as the Vermont Brochure Program Administrator.
The candidate will coordinate all aspects of VICD Marketing Program including:
Customer registration and re-registration
Invoicing
Maintenance of State records
Collaboration with multiple VICD locations/staff, customers, and the warehouse/distribution vendor.
Provide on-going training and communication with the Information Center Division staff in relation to the brochure program client base
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, customer service, marketing and sales skills. A working knowledge of Access Database management and account management, to include invoicing, payables, receivables and inventory management, is preferred. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently and with a varied customer base. Attention to detail is a must as the Administrator will have oversight and responsibly for a program which consists of over 400 accounts in 19 locations state-wide.
Experience in marketing and sales are a vital to this position as we promote Vermont businesses; therefore, the preferred candidate will have a proven track record in sales. Travel, typically in-state, will be expected. This position could include occasional weekend/holiday work necessary to provide customer service.
This position is classified as a Program Technician III by the Department of Human Resources.
