Your Focus

You will be responsible for client satisfaction and the quality of the service delivered by their team. You will lead the daily workload of the team and resolves day-to-day issues. You will be responsible for team leadership, motivation, training, and mentoring of their team.

Skills/Competencies/Responsibilities:

  • Support account management and client needs by various levels of interaction including conference calls, emails, visits, presentations, and investigative reporting/issue resolution to ensure client retention/satisfaction.

  • Provide timely and professional communication to clients, account managers, direct reports and senior management to effectively support team and company goals.

  • Support the implementation of company directives and processes to meet internal/external client needs such as retention and satisfaction related to the success of the transactional fulfillment process.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain process improvement initiatives as related to system and employee development through the monitoring/streamlining of current operating procedures.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to a team of Fulfillment Associates and other fulfillment personnel, which may include contingent workers.

  • Conduct annual evaluations of team members and provide feedback and monitor departmental performance; address performance issues.

  • Evaluate ongoing staffing requirements by reviewing productivity reports and client accounts and hiring and training new employees to meet these requirements.

  • Coach and mentor team members including the facilitation of on-the-job training to develop job skills and effectively address client concerns and meet client and internal needs.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma required. Applicants who have or are seeking additional degrees or professional certifications preferred.

  • Preferred supervisory or lead experience with a strong emphasis on customer service preferred. Industry knowledge of the mortgage, pre-employment screening, and/or social services processes preferred.

  • Understanding of PC functions, including Windows-based applications and ability to learn/understand internal verifications technology/systems.

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for the efficient expedition of customer sales transactions at the front registers. Must maintain proper control of cash, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard company assets. They are required to assist customers as needed and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Front End Department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes. * Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs. * Assists in overseeing the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers. * Computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due. * Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits. * Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, enter PLU or UPC manually, compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen. * Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and make sure no personnel items are in the area. * Issues coupons and rain checks. * Oversees and authorizes customer returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, rain checks, and case discounts. * Assures completion of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions and the proper control of all cash at the registers. * Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Also counts money at end of shift. * Assists in training of new cashiers and cross training of other staff; including all policies and procedures of the Front End department and loss prevention efforts. * Prepares daily deposits, change, and media. * Prepares end of day paperwork and complete nightly computer duties. * Administers lane accountability, quick counts, sweeps, breaks, and daily scheduling of all Cashiers and communicates performance issues and accomplishments to management. * Monitors that cashiers are properly verifying age of any customer buying alcohol in eligible states; this requires cashiers to have completed and received their TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management certification card. * Provides orderly maintenance of front-end supplies and replenishes merchandise as needed. * Communicates the need to open lanes as volume dictates. * Ensures the override cards and passwords given to Lead are always kept secure and not shared. * Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience * High school diploma or equivalency degree. * Must have a minimum of 2 years professional experience. * Preferred 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Front End department processes and procedures. * Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
