In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort interfacing with many disciplines, with a critical impact on getting high quality products to millions of customers quickly.

Key Qualifications

You should have following qualifications:- Deep knowledge of verification methodology- Verification tool and verification development experience- Strong in C, C++, Verilog and scripting languages like Perl/Python.- Database (SQL) and web skills (HTML/CSS/Javascript) are a plus, but not required.- Should be a team player with excellent communication skills, be able to work independently.- Knowledge of digital logic design and processor architecture.

Description

As a chip verification methodology and tool engineer owning the verification methodology, tools, and flow of a high performance lower power processor design, you will have the responsibilities as follows:- Work closely with verification engineers and RTL designers on defining effective verification methodology for low power complex processor design.- Drive and develop the tools and flows for advanced verification methodology.- Developing, verifying, and maintaining efficient testbench environments- Test the tool flows with selected blocks from the real design - Develop and automate simulation, emulation, and FPGA model build flows

In this highly visible role as a Front-End Methodology CAD engineer, you will play a major role in promoting a reliable work environment for Design and Design Verification (DV) teams. You will play a critical role where it allows the most concurrent development of IPs and fullchip integration within an SoC (system-on-chip) project. As the number of chips being designed concurrently increases, the need to develop IPs in a project agnostic environment, while maintaining high standards is becoming a key aspect of chip design. In addition to maintaining and expanding this environment, you are responsible for working on a continuous integration (CI) system, such as TeamCity, and define automated workflows.Last but not least, you are required to learn the existing FE infrastructure and apply your knowledge to make the flows more robust.
