In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort interfacing with many disciplines, with a critical impact on getting high quality products to millions of customers quickly.

Key Qualifications

You should have following qualifications:- Deep knowledge of verification methodology- Verification tool and verification development experience- Strong in C, C++, Verilog and scripting languages like Perl/Python.- Database (SQL) and web skills (HTML/CSS/Javascript) are a plus, but not required.- Should be a team player with excellent communication skills, be able to work independently.- Knowledge of digital logic design and processor architecture.


As a chip verification methodology and tool engineer owning the verification methodology, tools, and flow of a high performance lower power processor design, you will have the responsibilities as follows:- Work closely with verification engineers and RTL designers on defining effective verification methodology for low power complex processor design.- Drive and develop the tools and flows for advanced verification methodology.- Developing, verifying, and maintaining efficient testbench environments- Test the tool flows with selected blocks from the real design - Develop and automate simulation, emulation, and FPGA model build flows

Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices.As a senior member of our CAD team, you will architect, develop, maintain and enhance analog modeling, simulation, and verification methodology and solutions for our analog and mixed-signal designs. You will work in a small CAD team and collaborate with design teams within Apple as well as 3rd party EDA tool vendors. Typically requires 5+ years of industry experience in digital/mixed-signal modeling (Analog/RFIC design background, and CAD automation support and development advantageous)Proficiency with digital and mixed signal simulators: Incisive/Xcelium, VCS, AMS Designer, CustomSim-VCS, etcStrong ability to solve simulation accuracy, speed and capacity issuesRelevant experience in evaluating simulation and environment related CAD tool/product applications, and driving EDA vendors to meet design requirements.
