The Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating vendor relationships and Third-Party oversight through the on-boarding/off-boarding process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee and maintain the Third-Party Database and ascertain completeness of the vendor profile prior to the inception of contractual obligation by the vendor.

Review the Third Parties scorecard ensuring vendors are properly classified in the database.

Coordinate vendor due diligence reviews in accordance with the Bank's policy and procedures and follow-up as needed.

Review results and report on critical vendor assessments.

Ensure all vendors are in the Third-Party Database.

Act as a point of escalation for issues identified relating to Third-Party Vendors contacting the necessary areas for resolution.

Maintain and enhance, where applicable, the reporting framework to monitor, measure and report on vendor performance compared to contractual obligations and industry standards.

Maintain policies and update enterprise-wide procedures for Third-Party management as required.

Coordinate relationship owners in the Third-Party Database.

Required Skills:

Good understanding and knowledge of the various functions of a commercial bank (including retail/commercial lending, wealth management, investments, operations, etc.) and the types of vendors typically engaged by these business units.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to effectively respond to shifting priorities and assignments.

Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to prepare executive and Board level reports including memoranda and PowerPoint presentations.

Well organized and detail oriented.

Ability to meet deadlines and expectations with little or no supervision.

Required Experience:

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two years experience in administering an enterprise wide third-party database or related experience.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Knowledge of vendor management requirements established by Banking Regulators preferred.

Job Overview Responsible for providing a smooth and effective initial medical staff practitioner application process, while assuring compliance with medical staff bylaws and all regulatory agencies. Provides support to the medical staff officers and chairmen particularly the Chairman of the Credentials Committee and Vice President of Medical Affairs and contributes to the maintenance of an accurate and complete medical staff credentials file. Responsibilities Responsible for the initial credentialing of all new applications for appointment to the Medical Staff of St. Joseph's Healthcare System. Presents findings to the Department Chairmen and the Credentials Committee for review. Maintains credentialing database through Midas Seeker ensuring all data is kept current. Guides medical staff applicants through the process of completing application, including educating applicants on the credentialing process and its importance. Reviews all applications for accuracy, identifies red flags and compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, DNV Standards and CMS regulations. Attends all Credentials Committee meetings representing applications for review by Committee. Prepares agendas & minutes for this meeting & reports actions to the System Medical Board. Queries the National Practitioner Data Bank & the State Board of Medical Examiners, the OIG and ABMS. Reports discrepancies to the Manager of Medical Staff Services, VP for Medical Affairs, Department Chairmen, and Credentials Committee. Provides administrative & technical support for the officers/department chairmen of the Medical Staff. Monitors compliance with hospital & Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules & Regulations. May represent Department during surveys. Compiles & maintains statistical information concerning the Medical Staff making it available for surveys and as a resource for appropriate departments within the hospital, accrediting and government agencies. Participates in the planning, preparation & execution of various social functions for the System Medical Staff (eg. Annual Dinner Dance, Doctor's Day Celebrations, trips, etc). Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects Qualifications Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and two to three years of previous work related experience. Proficiency of Microsoft Office preferred. National Association of Medical Staff Services - Certified Provider Credential Specialist (CPCS) preferred. Ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution.
