The Vendor Enablement Specialists supports the efforts of the vendor enrollment activities within WEX and our channel partners. Vendor Enablement is a service related to our virtual card and Paygenus Network solutions that convert our clients' vendors from manual check payments to a preferred electronic payments. The goal is to simplify the payment process, provide better control, and visibility to our clients.

This position includes achieving assigned quotas for the number of vendor profiles successfully processed on a daily basis. This person will be calling on Accounts Receivable departments for our clients, asking questions regarding vendor capabilities, and meticulously documenting responses so that WEX can process payment transactions appropriately on behalf of our clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone enrollment campaigns

  • Listen and addresses the concerns of suppliers to support them through value driven education.

  • Meet or exceed daily communication objectives

  • Actively input and maintain vendor data in Excel spreadsheet(s) and our CRM

  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Monitor changes and updates in the vendor database; maintain vendor and/or client data within designated databases

  • Monitor and record incoming faxes, emails, phone calls from vendors regarding enrollment status

  • Reporting vendor enrollment statistics to clients, sales and/or project management

  • Scrub and clean data from sales and prepare Excel files for Paygenus match submission

  • Assist in the sales cycle and provide consultative support to sales and the prospect on how WEX differentiates itself from our competition. Provide a process, best practices, strategies, and tools in an effort to assist in sales closing more deals.

  • Create Sales Proposal Presentation (PowerPoint) and deliver results to sales or directly to prospect

Metrics and Results

Each Vendor Enablement Specialists should be able to:
1.Make a minimum of 80 calls per day / 400 calls per week
2.Enroll 50 vendors a week

Results:
1.Increase capabilities / focused approach
2.200 new vendors per month

Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma

  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, possible holidays and occasional overtime

  • Must pass a successful background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Positive, professional attitude and phone etiquette

POSITION SUMMARY: As a Charge Entry Specialist in our practice, you will function as a champion of patient billing and administration. The Specialist will be responsible for compiling billing information, assisting with coding, and ensuring all charges are posted accurately and timely. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Receives and reviews charge documents for accuracy and coordinates with front office staff on all payment/billing issues. * Enters charges into practice management system. * Balances Charge Summary to tickets keyed before finalizing/updating charges in the system. * Extracts information from medical records, operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, progress notes and discharges to ensure completeness and accuracy. * Assists with identifying quality issues with registration and scheduling activities. EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of 1 year of coding, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the healthcare field is required. * Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is highly preferred. * Familiarity with third party billing requirements and payment policies is also highly preferred.
