This is what you'll do:

Track and Manage the vehicle content for pre-production test properties.
Act as a liaison between the vehicle test team and program teams.
Manage vehicle testing timelines.
Issue tracking, corrective action implementations using JIRA and other tools
Assist Integration Managers in driving test issue resolution.
Generate and integrate all Test & Validation related timelines to the overall vehicle timing
Work with Validation engineers to ensure tests are planned, sourced, executed, and reported on time
Support defined development process and suggest improvements.
Integrate successfully with Testing and Development teams
Elevate issues and risks immediately to mitigate impact to the program

This is what you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology field or related work experience
2+ years automotive experience in Technical Program Management
Understanding of automotive Testing & Validation processes
Good knowledge of Jira and Jama
Ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams
Understanding of test data analysis and tools
History of first principals approach to problem solving.
Experience with Electric and Autonomous vehicle systems.
Strong team player
Excellent written and verbal skills

About the Team: Systems Test Engineering team tests and validates the vehicle system level features as well as end to end user interface. We set the high quality standards that ensure our vehicles meet the targeted functionality, safety and performance . We're looking for talented teammates who'll help us maintain strong teamwork and are able to deliver results. This is what you will do: * Write black box testcases and test plans for testing on bucks and vehicles * Work with a multitude of engineers to test software features for Infotainment, Navigation, Vehicle access and Connectivity on the Vehicle * Actively contribute to full system bucks bring up and vehicle bring up and maintain them * In-vehicle testing of Infotainment and Connectivity tests * Able to travel to vehicle build and commission sites to assist in bring up activities This is what you will need: * 4+ years of experience with automotive company * Experience with HiL/SiL/MiL systems * Ability to think on systems or vehicle level and how different areas of the vehicle work with each other. * Familiarity with AUTOSAR and software architecture of an ECU, RTOS * Good electrical fundamentals and being able to read vehicle, electrical schematics and wire harness diagrams. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on bucks, vehicles or benches. Familiarity with basic automotive tools. * Strong Automotive CAN/CAN-FD fundamentals, familiarity with Automotive Ethernet, UDS Protocol * Familiarity with QNX and Android and 1+ year of experience with Infotainment systems * Desire and the ability to not just test but also root cause issues and support development of multiple ECUs. Role Summary Responsibilities * Support the development of innovative chassis systems and components (ride, handling, steering and braking systems), aiming to improve the customer experience from the perspective of vehicle performance, efficiency, durability and reliability; * Develop vehicle and sub-systems simulation models to predict the performance of the proposed solutions and support Proof-Of-Concept activities. * Support, as required, the development and testing of embedded software (which may include control and state estimation algorithms, diagnostics and calibration) for virtual / physical Proof-Of-Concept of the proposed solutions; * Work at all levels of the V-model and support Systems Engineering to ensure system delivery; * Support the set-up of measurement systems and the design of data analysis tools and procedures during the Proof-Of-Concept phase * Provide technical guidance and recommendations to support the production and calibration of the systems under development * Interface with the other R&D functions and the wider Rivian engineering community to assess the risk of the proposed concepts and develop plans to manage it through virtual and physical test activities * Meet timing & budget constraints whilst achieving the vehicle, systems and component targets; * Perform root cause analysis of issues detected in products released or under development, implement lessons learnt on subsequent products; * Travel to proving grounds domestically and abroad as required. It Tasks may include: * Calculating the loads * Evaluating the kinematic and compliance properties * Feeding suspension and steering data into full vehicle models * Defining suspension and steering hardpoints * Performing primary / secondary ride analysis * Running specific simulation events to predict the vehicle steady state / transient response, in open- or closed-loop * Developing physical models of chassis sub-systems * Performing correlation activities to align the simulation models with physical test data. Qualifications Essential: * Bachelor's in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent; * 3+ years of chassis systems and Vehicle Dynamics development; * Experience with Multi-Body and full-vehicle simulation tools to evaluate vehicle dynamics attributes; * Good knowledge of validation, verification and testing process; * Ability to understand Engineering direction and provide design concepts accordingly. Desired: * Experience in at least one full product lifecycle delivering CAE vehicle dynamics attributes from concepts through production; * Experience with MSC Adams, IPG CarMaker, Matlab / Simulink and physical modelling tools (e.g. Simscape, AMESim); * Experience with vehicle control systems.
