A vehicle purchasing agent is responsible for handling all requests of customers looking to sell their vehicles. On a daily basis agents are responsible for handling inbound calls, making offers on vehicles and close as many sales as you can. You will be handling calls from customers who will want to sell Junk & Auction vehicles. An agent is required to take 50-100 calls per day. Software currently being used is Microsoft Access, Salesforce & five9. All simple data entry with training. You will have veterans who have been in the business for years that can give you hands on training. You are required to meet certain quotas.
Ability to analyze and learn Copart sale values/trends
Ability to work independently in a fast paced performance based environment.
Gather information via phone and computer, research comparable vehicle sales history, and work toward making accurate, financially sound automotive purchasing decisions
Ability to track and retain trends in the retail/wholesale market -- apply to purchasing decisions
Ability to initiate sales calls and close a high number of sales.
Ability to document activity using various software tools
